Meeting Minutes 11-08-2022

Meeting called to order at 12:29 by Jennifer Whittemore.

Attendees: Jennifer Whittemore, Lani Pierie, Leslie Schuster, Lisa Dachenhausen

Approval of last months meeting minutes and the Treasurer report: First motion to approve minutes by Leslie Schuster, Second motion to approve minutes by Lani Pierie

Pizza Cards: 450 purchased, only 7 were sold at the game, 159 cards sold by the kids with 200 left over. Somehow we ended up with more cards. Pizza cards and money were collected from all but three students.

Culvers Night: November 15th from 4-7pm. Band kids will be working this fundraiser and receive the money to their personal account. The money from the raffle will go to the band boosters. Raffle tickets will cost 2 dollars per ticket or 3 for 5 dollars. We will have a sign in sheet to keep track of who has worked. Jennifer, Lisa, and Lani are available to be at the event.

Finals: November 19th is finals. Our students will be performing at 8:30 with a call time of 4:15am. We will be the first performance. Awards are at 10:45 and lunch time is scheduled for 11:15am. Tania is getting Chick-fil-a and will find a place to eat at the park. Lisa is suggesting that we reserve a spot if we want the tables. The kids can also bring a towel and sit on the ground.

Stocking Stuffer Bizarre: December 17th from 10-4pm. Cost is 45 dollars for the table. Ideas for things to sell are decorated sugar cookies, fudge, hand made crafts. Money from this event will be going to the band boosters. We would like a handful of kids to be present at this event.

Financials: Doughnuts will only be profitable if they are donated. First time selling doughnuts we made a profit of 19 dollars, and the second time we only made 10 dollars. Hand warmers were a bit more profitable. We made 50 dollars the first game and 52 dollars the second game. We need to contact Missy Townsend about being in a rotation for the concession stands. We need another way to raise money for the band. There are still six kids who haven't paid the 80 dollars and several parents have not replied to Lani's emails.

Winter Concert Silent Auction: Winter concert is on December 8th. We will go ahead with the silent auction even if we don't have a ton of items. Raskin, Hike Shack, BIGA are some possibilities. Upcoming Events: Veterans Day Parade is on November 11th. Kids need to meet on Cortez at 10am. Meeting Closed: 1:12p
