PRESCOTT HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS EXTRA BOARD MEETING

PHS Band Boosters Minutes August 2021

Date: August 30 2021

Time: 1:00pm

Location: Ruth Street Theater teacher’s lounge

Attendees: Lisa Dachenhausen (President), Tania Higgins (Secretary), Jennifer Whittemore (Treasurer)

Others: Erin Daniels, Staci Braithwaite.

Approval of meeting minutes: Approved

Consent agenda: Treasurer’s Report Approved

Old/Ongoing business:

● LIsa met with Cal-Ranch, said yes to car wash fundraisers but needs 2 weeks notice before the event.

● LIsa got food handlers card.

● 35 people have signed up for the Remind app.

● Magnets not available until September.

● Whitney Kahn is our computer expert contact.

● Chaperones are still needed for all festivals.

● Mr Bradstreet to update calendar.

● Send out reminder to send $60 to feed kids.

● Homecoming meals for the band will be provided by David Sherman across the street at the Rock.

● PO box needs transfer of ownership.

● Steve Acker will contact Tania when meeting is set.

New business:

● Lisa needs Sally to still meet with her.

● Hike Shack bought ads in digital and for printed programs. (need to ask Tracy about how to get ads into

programs)

● Tania is chairing all meals for the band.

● We reviewed by-laws and revised them.

● Band photo shared with the football Boosters.

● Will look into Donorbox as our crowd funding options.

● Daily Courier will do an article about our Las Fuentes community event.

● Still need to contact companies on the back of the band trailer to see if they want to re-up ads for another

year at $150.00.

● Still needing parents to help with 50/50 raffle at first game on 9/10.

● Cyndi is currently working on Raise Right fundraiser.

● Band pictures are moved to the Courthouse square to 9/8 at 3pm.

● Ordered festival T-shirts at Action Graphics.

● Ordered drums and straps.

● September 18th, instrument evaluation with Mr Bradstreet.

● Wrote 21 Donor/solicitation letters, need to correct addresses in the tri fold brochures.

● Papa Murphy pizza card fundraiser to be set up.

● Gift cards bought for the the jazz festivals people.

Action:

Tania needs to contact Papa Murphys
