The Prescott High School Wind Ensemble incorporates both the typical instruments found within woodwind and brass, and the more advanced relatives of these classifications.  Students should expect to spend ample time at home practicing for this class as the compositions are inclined to be more difficult pieces.  Parents of students enrolled in the Wind Ensemble should expect classes to occur during their student’s regular school day, their student to spend ample time at home practicing, and concerts to occur each semester.  The Wind Ensemble does participate in a few competitions that typically fall within the school day throughout the school year as well.
